LABSP-3393 - Implementing Segment Routing v6 (SRv6) Transport on Cisco 8000 and NCS 55xx/5xx Platforms
Proctors | Navneet Shrivastava None | Paban Sarma Mass Scale Infrastructure |

SRv6 has become the technology of choice for simplifying and converging the transport infrastructure of communication service providers. Segment routing v6 is an evolution of segment routing without the need of MPLS underlay. SRv6 uses native IPv6 for transport and eliminates the complexity of multiple protocols. SRv6 network programming enables automated virtualization of the transport infrastructure. This advanced lab session will demonstrate the new SRv6 transport on the IOS XR-based Cisco 8000 and NCS 5500/500 routers, and how to configure and implement overlay L3 & L2 service on top of it. Attendees will implement SRv6 transport with ISIS as the IGP and provision end-to-end L3VPN, and EVPN ELINE and ELAN over the SRv6 transport.
