In this walk-in lab session, attendees will learn the following: This session will fortify your understandings and associated nuances about smart switches, DPUs and Hypershield 1. You will learn how to integrate smart switches with cloud based Hypershield (Security cloud control) and also to on-prem controller. 2. You will experience how we brought Network and security in to one switch hardware (collapsed architecture) 3. You will get hands on experience in implementation of intra-vrf segmentation in VRFs+srcCIDR+dstCIDR segmentation rules 4. You will see how the policies are pushed from Hypershield and experience the syntax and semantics of the respective policies 5. You will learn how to configure v4, v6( will be same) traffic firewall rules with VRF redirection to DPUs 6. You will learn about how DPUs will help to implement L4 stateful firewall services. You will experience how smart switches can be replacement for your incumbent L4 stateful segmentation firewalls In this lab, smart switches will be managed using Nexus Dashboard. Smart switches firewall policies can be pushed either through Hypershield controller(HS) controller in cloud SCC or through on-prem HS controller in air-gapped environments.
