Segment routing is changing the game in terms of ability to deploy Traffic Engineering widely as it overcomes the limitations imposed by RSVP-TE. The source routing paradigm makes the network programmable and allows for external controller to provide more scale and granular path calculation constraints.

This lab will go over using a Crosswork Network Controller (CNC) to easily provision SR-TE with MPLS and SRv6 and a good understanding of how these policies are working by being able to visualize and get metrics from CNC. Bandwidth use cases and P2MP SR (TREE SID) is introduced.
