SRv6 Brownfield Interworking Lab

Many network deployments require the integration of SRv6 into existing brownfield networks.

Incremental SRv6 deployment mandates that SRv6 must interwork and coexist with SR-MPLS or MPLS LDP.

This coexistence may be temporary, during migration from an SR-MPLS IPv4 brownfield network to SRv6, or permanent, if some devices only support native IPv6 and SR-MPLS IPv4 but do not support SRv6.

This lab demonstrates an interworking scenario and the implementation of VPN services, such as L3VPN, across this domain using an interworking gateway.
