Traditional DDoS solutions can't scale with increased L3-L4 attack frequency and average of the size attacks, making it prohibitively expensive for Service Providers to maintain large sized DDoS Scrubbers. Cisco Secure DDoS Edge Protection is an industry's first true on-box solution, that stops DDoS attacks at the Service Provider Network Edge, with no additional gear needed. Goal of the lab is to demonstrate the life cycle management of the solution using the Edge Protection Controller and how the mitigation container gets deployed on IOS-XR via the app hosting infrastructure with a Zero-Touch provisioning. This lab will allow the users to get hand-on to configure router specific templates, mitigation options for the attacks simulated via tools, work with the various t-filters and other reporting options. Overall participants will get first hand view of Day Zero to Day Two operations of the solution.
