VXLAN EVPN has become de-facto as standard for DataCenter fabrics, and it is one fo the critical skills for Data Center network engineers to be able to implement and verify correct workings of this technology.
This lab session will focus on increasing complexity scenarios from establishing the underlay to buiding the overlay and setting up more advanced connectivity features:
- underlay IGP configuration for BUM and IR replication methods
- forwarding of L2VNI (bridged) and L3VNI (routed) traffic
- VPC VTEPs
- VRF leaking
- DHCP relay in the Fabric
- establishing External connectivity
Implementation of the VXLAN EVPN will be explained step by step configuration tasks, including verification practical tasks to help better understand the underlying components of VXLAN EVPN solution and their interaction.
