Start your automation journey with this walk-in lab, intended for participants stepping into the world of network automation or preparing for the DevNet Associate (soon to be renamed CCNA Automation early next year) certification. In this lab, you will get hands-on experience with using Cisco APIs, specifically Cisco NSO (Network Services Orchestrator) using its RESTCONF API. This lab focuses on interpreting NSO API documentation, constructing and executing API requests using an API testing tool, and translating these requests into Python code with the Requests library. Participants will learn how to connect to NSO via its RESTCONF API, how to craft basic API requests, and how to perform device management tasks.
